Rick Moorefield, Community and Economic Development Extension Agent, works with the City of Hinton and Summers County to improve and progress the prosperity of our community. With this focus in mind, Mr. Moorefield has a Top Ten List of projects of priority for 2009-2010. This list includes Passenger and Freight Depots, Bicycle and Waterfront Trail Development, Planning Commission Support, John Henry Historical Park, REAP Program Coordination, Farmland Protection Board, Local Board Training, and Community Vitality Team.


The location for the new Skate Park will be City Sidetrack Park.
